Time to savour the Countryside

The Dorset Golf and Country Club is situated in over three hundred acres of forest and heathland.

The ancient forest contains rare species of trees and most interestingly three hundred year old coppiced oaks.

For our guests enjoyment, pathways have been created throughout the forest with information boards strategically sited and containing information regarding the surrounding flora and fauna.

Three pathways have been created to meander around the woodland, these are two, three and four and a half miles long, also bridlepaths that surround the perimeters of the golf courses.

We are fortunate to be close to the very centre of the now famous World Heritage Jurassic Coastline and for those wishing to visit this stunning area of the country, views of breathtaking proportion are a few short miles away.
