Our Junior Captain for 2018 – 2020 is Ben White who has played at the club now for many years.

My name is Ben White and I am the Junior Captain for the 2018 – 2020 seasons.
This golfing year is going to be very exciting as we have lots of fun competitions and activities planned throughout the season.
I would like to build a stronger junior section this year as I believe we have some great potential in our junior players who will benefit from increased support and recognition. The juniors are the club players of the future so increasing the junior section is in everyone’s interest. Whilst our junior section is small we have the opportunity to grow as we have some of the best practices facilities, courses, coaches and facilities in Dorset.
We will be holding junior practice sessions and roll-up competitions for those interested in representing the club in junior competitions or just to improve your game.
This year it would be great if we could get a positive impact on our junior section by having teams compete in county competitions, successfully. I would encourage all juniors to come along and enjoy their time playing golf at Dorset Golf and Country Club.
